I haven’t ever been on a 30a beach vacation with close friends, but by looking at the Payton and Walker families, I imagine it would be pretty grand!! Seaside was the perfect backdrop for these beautiful, fun families, and the weather was just lovely (after a day of stressing about the rain!)! Not only were they sweet and fun, but they were incredibly gracious to me- I brought Isla along for the party, and by the end of the session she was d.o.n.e. – trying to escape into the ocean! I appreciate their kind laughs and “we’ve been there” attitude…they couldn’t be sweeter!
We began the sessions with traditional portraits, as I usually try to do, but by the end of they evening they were all about the exciting stuff! They journeyed into the water (my favorite thing for families to do during sessions) with big smiles and a few splish splashes! I just loved how adventurous the kids were, heading for the water like it was their job- making my job so much more fun in the process! And let’s just take a moment to talk about those dresses!! Long floral dresses are some of my favorites, and these ladies pulled each of theirs off so perfectly (and coordinated with their beautiful families like rockstars!)!
Casi, Rocky, Bailey, Chris, and kids…you were so much fun to spend the evening with! Thank you for so good naturedly (making it a word) playing along with all of myprompts for posing, even when they were silly! You are all so perfectly easygoing, gorgeous, and so much fun! You guys are the type of people who make my job so absolutely wonderful! I hope the rest of your vacation was amazing, and that getting back to real life has felt (almost) as wonderful as your time on 30a!
