Somehow, an entire year flew by before our eyes! This sweet boy has officially graduated from his First Year Collective! We wrapped up his milestone journey with a gorgeous evening session along 30A, waiting until he was confidently on the move so we could document those early wobbly, joy-filled steps. (Once they start walking, it’s a whole new ballgame!)
A Sunset Session on the Beach
This final session wasn’t just about him—it was a full family celebration. Big sister was there, keeping us all entertained as usual. As you may have noticed in previous sessions, sister always gets a moment in the spotlight! It’s important to us to make sure siblings are never forgotten during newborn or milestoe sessions. Mama once again looked radiant, soaking in the lingering moments of babyhood before toddlerhood takes over completely. The beach on 30A gave us the perfect setting for playful snuggles and sandy toes.
Why Families Wait for the Walking Stage
Many families choose to do their First Year Collective family session shortly after the one-year mark. This session was a perfect example of why. Waiting until baby is walking allows for so much movement, interaction, and those precious in-between moments of independence and affection. Watching this little guy reach for his parents’ hands and toddle after big sister made for such a meaningful way to close out his first year.
Looking Back and Looking Forward
From his newborn session in the studio to his six-month milestone at Cerulean Park, and his cake smash celebration, this family has embraced every moment of his first year.
