As your Memphis maternity photographer, you already know our favorite thing is documenting the journey of the early years! This gorgeous maternity session at Shelby Farms Park was extra sweet for us. This mama was closing one chapter while beginning another. As she carried baby number two, we celebrated not only her growing family but also the beautiful year we’d spent documenting her first little one’s milestones through the First Year Collective.
A Serene Evening in Shelby Farms Park
Shelby Farms Park gave us the perfect mix of open fields and soft, golden light—an ideal setting for this glowing mama. She wore a delicate floral dress from the NBP Client Wardrobe. It’s a piece that felt both timeless and effortlessly elegant against the natural backdrop. As she walked through the fields, cradling her bump, you could feel the excitement (and maybe a little bit of that second-time-mom confidence—because by now, she knows baby socks are a scam and sleep schedules are a suggestion).
Her little one, not too far off from celebrating her own big first birthday (see the cake smash session here!), was all giggles and wonder. You can’t skip over those little hands on her face! These are the moments that remind us why we love what we do—preserving the magic in a season that passes by faster than a toddler with something they’re definitely not supposed to have.
