Five Things I’m Loving Right Now – March 2025 Edition

One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to connect with families—not just through beautiful imagery, but as real people with real lives (and, let’s be honest, real caffeine needs). So today, I’m switching things up with a little peek into what I’ve been loving lately. A mix of cozy, practical, and just plain fun, these are the things currently making my days a little sweeter.

1. AWAKE Caffeinated Chocolate Bites

Some people sip coffee. Others guzzle it. Me? I snack on it. These AWAKE chocolate bites have the caffeine equivalent of half a cup of coffee, which means I can grab one between editing sessions, homeschool lessons, or, let’s be honest, just to survive the 3 p.m. slump. Bonus: they taste like actual chocolate, not regret.

2. The Story of Christianity by Justo L. Gonzalez

I’ve been deep into The Story of Christianity, and wow—it’s been such a fascinating read. Equal parts history lesson and faith journey, it’s one of those books that makes you feel smarter just by having it on your nightstand. Perfect for anyone who loves a good deep dive into history (or just needs an excuse to sit down with a cup of tea for a while).

3. Holga Film Camera

I spend most of my days crafting polished, timeless imagery for my clients, but there’s something nostalgic and freeing about shooting film for fun. The Holga point-and-shoot is light, easy to carry, and gives that dreamy, imperfect quality that feels a little like childhood memories in a frame. If you’ve ever wanted to try film photography without the fuss, this one’s a winner.

4. Girly Cotton Pajama Set

Spring is teasing its way in, and I’ve been living in the softest cotton PJs that feel like a little luxury at the end of the day. Lightweight, breathable, and with just the right touch of feminine detail—basically, the mom-friendly version of feeling put together while still being cozy enough for bedtime stories.

5. Scalloped Throw Pillow Covers

I have them in green, and now I need them in pink. These scalloped throw pillow covers add just the right amount of charm to a space, and they’re the easiest way to switch up home décor for a new season. Bonus: they make the perfect backdrop for those in-home lifestyle images. (Because yes, I do look at every home item and think, “How would this look in a photo?”)

There you have it—five little things making my days brighter right now. I love hearing what others are obsessed with, too, so if you’ve found a new favorite book, home item, or secret caffeination method, drop me a message!
